Over the years, that call has grown stronger. What began as small gatherings rooted in healing, learning, and togetherness has evolved into a movement that bridges continents. Through personal development workshops and cultural heritage journeys to Ghana, I’ve witnessed transformation—people rediscovering themselves, reconnecting with their roots, and finding home in unexpected places.
The path has been rich and evolving—and we remain committed to uplifting, educating, and connecting communities across the African Diaspora and beyond.

For more than 28 years, I have traveled extensively to Ghana—each journey deepening my connection to the land, the people, and our shared ancestral story. Through these experiences, I’ve become deeply skilled in planning, organizing, and leading group travel to Ghana, guiding others as they, too, answer the call home.

Through these experiences, I’ve become deeply skilled in planning, organizing, and leading group travel to Ghana, guiding others as they, too, answer the call home.
The Akan word Nkrabea, meaning “soul’s destiny,” beautifully captures my mission: to facilitate Homecoming Experiences for African Ancestry people who are ready to make the sacred pilgrimage back to the Motherland.
Today, Talking Drum Enterprises continues its mission by offering cultural, educational, and heritage excursions and study abroad programs to Ghana. Each experience is designed to inspire healing, growth, and reconnection—to ourselves, to our history, and to one another.
